About WCCA

Supporting and strengthening the cattle industry in Wagoner County.

Who We Are

The Wagoner County Cattlemen’s Association exists to support and protect the livestock industry in Wagoner County.

For producers, that means strengthening local networks, encouraging livestock identification, supporting responsible animal health practices, and standing together on issues that impact agriculture at the county and state level.

For our broader community, it means promoting education, stewardship, and the long-term sustainability of the cattle industry in our region.

WCCA brings together producers, families, and community members who care about agriculture and the future it represents. We believe a strong cattle industry supports strong families, strong rural communities, and a stronger future for the next generation.

What We Do

WCCA supports the livestock industry in Wagoner County through practical action and local engagement.

Our work includes:

  • Educational Opportunities
Hosting meetings, tours, and demonstrations that provide valuable industry insight and shared learning for producers and community members.

  • Legislative Awareness & Advocacy
Promoting, supporting, or opposing legislation that impacts livestock producers at the state level.

  • Livestock Protection & Reporting Rewards
Offering standing rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in livestock theft, vandalism, fire damage, or illegal dumping on a member’s property.

  • Animal Health & Stewardship
Supporting responsible livestock management and responding to disease or threats to animal health as needed.

  • Livestock Identification
Encouraging permanent identification practices such as branding and proper registration to protect cattle and deter theft.

Leadership & Governance

WCCA is governed by a Board of Directors representing each County Commissioner’s District, along with elected officers including a President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Reporter.

Officers and directors are elected by the membership and serve defined terms to ensure continuity, accountability, and representation across Wagoner County.

The association operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the livestock industry and supporting its members.
